Vivian Joseph, popularly known as Mrs. Nkubi and wife of renowned skit maker Victor Nkubi, has ignited a wave of public outrage following a disturbing revelation on social media. In a post that quickly went viral, Mrs. Nkubi shared a screenshot of a vile comment from a social media user who advised her to “kpai” (a slang for kill) her young daughter, Soromtochukwu Elora Amabuo Nwaogu.
The comment, which read, “I will advise you to kpai this girl now she is still little so that the trauma will not be much on her when she finally grows. My little advice though,” was met with fierce condemnation across platforms. Mrs. Nkubi responded by publicly identifying the man behind the message, posting his photograph alongside the screenshot and labeling him a “murderer.”
The backlash was swift and intense. Thousands of Nigerians took to Instagram and Facebook to express their disgust, with many calling for legal action against the individual. Comments ranged from prayers for the child’s protection to demands for the man’s arrest. One user wrote, “This man needs to be arrested, honestly,” while another added, “You say this to a mother, telling her to murder her innocent child. How evil are you?”
This incident follows a series of cyberbullying episodes targeting the Nkubi family, including a recent viral post that mocked their daughter with the caption “Main Labubu.”
“We are heartbroken but not broken,” said Mrs. Nkubi in a follow-up post. “Our daughter is a gift from God, and no amount of hate will dim her light. We will continue to stand against cyberbullying and protect our family with love and faith.”
