In a resounding endorsement of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu's political acumen, the National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Professor Nentawe Yilwatda, has publicly stated that he is actively learning the intricacies of politics from the President, whom he hails as "one of the best politicians ever produced in Nigeria."
Speaking at a ceremony in Kanke Local Government Area of Plateau State on Saturday, where he was conferred with the prestigious traditional title of "Kaeh-rit" (meaning "the good seed of Ampang East").
Prof. Yilwatda expressed his admiration for President Tinubu's leadership style. "I’m learning from the best leader, Asiwaju Tinubu. Mr. The president is one of the best politicians you can learn from, and since adopting me as his son, I’ve learned so much from him," he said.
"He is teaching me, and so I’m learning. If you see me succeeding, it’s because I’m learning from the very best politician ever produced in Nigeria. So why not? I will work towards achieving what he has done also, being one of the best politicians in Nigeria."
The event highlighted Prof. Yilwatda's commitment to community development and food security, aligning with the APC's national agenda under President Tinubu.
In a generous gesture, the Chairman donated ₦10 million, along with seedlings and other essential farm inputs, to local farmers in Kanke LGA. This initiative underscores the party's focus on agricultural empowerment and economic growth at the grassroots level.
Prof. Yilwatda also voiced optimism about strengthening the APC's presence in Plateau State, expressing confidence in the potential defection of Governor Caleb Mutfwang to the party. "Plateau State would benefit immensely from a unified government and party structure," he noted, emphasizing the APC's inclusive policy where all members enjoy equal rights and opportunities.
This marks the second traditional honor bestowed upon Prof. Yilwatda in recent weeks, following a title from the Tiv Nation in Benue State recognizing his humanitarian contributions.
The All Progressives Congress remains dedicated to fostering progressive policies, unity, and prosperity for all Nigerians under the visionary leadership of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
