President Donald J. Trump today voiced strong dissatisfaction with the ongoing indirect nuclear negotiations with Iran, following the latest round of talks in Geneva that concluded without a breakthrough.

Speaking to reporters at the White House, the President emphasized that Iran has not demonstrated sufficient willingness to meet U.S. demands for a comprehensive agreement that prevents Tehran from acquiring nuclear weapons.

"I'm not happy with the fact that they're not willing to give us what we have to have. I'm not thrilled with that," President Trump stated. "We want no nuclear weapons by Iran, and they’re not saying those golden words.

We'd love to make a deal they'd be smart if they made a deal but we've not made a final decision yet."

The President's comments come amid heightened regional tensions and a significant U.S. military buildup in the Middle East, including the deployment of carrier strike groups, additional aircraft, and other assets.

The administration has repeatedly stressed that while a negotiated solution remains the preferred path, military options are on the table if Iran fails to comply with demands to dismantle key nuclear facilities, transfer enriched uranium stockpiles, and address related concerns such as ballistic missiles and support for proxy groups.

In a related precautionary measure, the U.S. Department of State today authorized the voluntary departure of non-emergency U.S. government personnel and their family members from the U.S. Embassy in Jerusalem due to elevated safety risks.

U.S. Ambassador to Israel Mike Huckabee advised staff wishing to leave to do so promptly while commercial flights remain available.

This step is taken out of an abundance of caution amid concerns that Iran could retaliate against U.S. interests or allies in the region if talks collapse.

Secretary of State Marco Rubio is scheduled to travel to Israel next week to consult with Israeli leadership on regional priorities, including the Iran situation. Additional discussions with Iranian representatives are expected to continue in the coming days, with technical-level talks anticipated in Vienna.

President Trump reiterated his commitment to preventing Iran from developing nuclear weapons while prioritizing American and allied security. "Sometimes you have to use force, but I'd love not to," he added.

The administration continues to work toward a durable resolution that protects U.S. national interests and promotes stability in the Middle East.
