President Donald J. Trump today reaffirmed America's unwavering resolve in the ongoing campaign to dismantle the Iranian regime's terrorist infrastructure, following a series of decisive U.S. military operations under Operation Epic Fury.
In a strongly worded post on Truth Social early this morning, President Trump highlighted the United States' overwhelming military superiority and the moral imperative driving the action.
He stated “They’ve been killing innocent people all over the world for 47 years, and now I, as the 47th President of the United States of America, am killing them. What a great honour it is to do so!”
The President described Iran's leadership as “deranged scumbags” and emphasized that the U.S. military has already obliterated much of Iran's navy, air force, missile and drone stockpiles, and key command elements. “We are totally destroying the terrorist regime of Iran militarily, economically, and otherwise,” he declared, vowing that operations would intensify in the coming days with “unparalleled firepower” and “unlimited ammunition.”
The current phase of the conflict, launched in coordination with key allies including Israel, follows decades of Iranian aggression, proxy attacks on U.S. forces and allies, sponsorship of terrorism worldwide, and threats to global stability.
President Trump has repeatedly made clear that the United States will not tolerate such threats and will act decisively to protect American interests and promote peace through strength.
“Our brave men and women in uniform are executing this mission with precision and courage,” the President noted. He has honored fallen service members in dignified transfer ceremonies and continues to prioritize the safety of U.S. personnel while pressing for the regime's complete neutralization.
President Trump concluded by warning remaining Iranian forces: “Watch what happens to these deranged scumbags today.” He reiterated that the United States stands ready to escort vital shipping through the Strait of Hormuz if needed and will hit Iran “very hard” in the week ahead until full objectives are achieved.
