Coalition of 1,500 Groups Endorses President Bola Tinubu for Second Term, Cites Bold Reforms and Renewed Hope Agenda

In a powerful demonstration of grassroots support, a broad-based national coalition comprising over 1,500 civil society organisations, professional associations, labour groups, artisan bodies, community networks, and youth movements has formally endorsed President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for a second term in office ahead of the 2027 general elections.


The endorsement, announced today under the platform of the Tinubu Mega Group (TMG) and allied coalitions including the Coalition of Civil Society Organisations in Nigeria (COCSON), highlights the President's transformative leadership, economic reforms, and commitment to sustainable national development. Representatives from across Nigeria's 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory converged in Abuja to declare their unified support.


Speaking on behalf of the coalition, a leading representative stated: “President Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda is delivering tangible results despite global economic headwinds. His courageous reforms in fuel subsidy removal, exchange rate unification, and infrastructure development are laying a solid foundation for a more prosperous Nigeria. We stand firmly with him for continuity and accelerated progress.”


The coalition praised key achievements of the Tinubu administration, including advancements in security, digital economy initiatives, agricultural revitalization, and efforts to attract foreign investment. Members emphasized the administration’s focus on youth empowerment, women’s inclusion, and grassroots development as critical drivers for long-term national growth.
