Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, has thrown a bold challenge to residents of Abuja, daring anyone who claims not to have experienced the positive impact of the current administration to speak up publicly.
Speaking during a media interaction, Minister Wike emphasized that the Tinubu-led government has delivered tangible infrastructure and developmental projects that residents can see and experience daily. He expressed confidence in the administration’s performance, stating that President Tinubu has no reason to worry about public support given the visible results on the ground.
“I challenge everybody in this FCT who can come out to say we don’t have the impact, we don’t feel the presence of government,” Wike declared. He urged residents to honestly assess the situation rather than echo criticisms without basis, noting that anyone genuinely living in Abuja would acknowledge the ongoing developments.
The Minister highlighted ongoing projects in both urban and rural areas of the FCT, including road constructions and other initiatives aimed at improving the quality of life for residents. He maintained that the administration’s efforts have brought noticeable changes, countering narratives suggesting otherwise.
This statement underscores the FCT Administration’s commitment to transparency, accountability, and continued delivery of people-oriented projects under President Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda.
