The Nigerian Air Force today confirms a series of precision airstrikes against terrorist locations in Borno State. These operations target Boko Haram and ISWAP insurgents. The strikes aim to disrupt terrorist activities and protect civilian lives.

The Air Force launched airstrikes on January 1 and 2. Pilots struck terrorist enclaves in Abirma and Chiralia within the Timbuktu Triangle. They also hit positions in Guva within the Mandara Mountains. Intelligence reports guided these actions. The operations destroyed structures linked to explosive production and attack planning.

Additionally, on January 1, forces targeted terrorists advancing toward Monguno town. Airstrikes neutralized threats and prevented potential assaults on communities. Secondary explosions confirmed the destruction of weapons stockpiles.

Furthermore, on January 8, the Air Force conducted strikes in Abbagajiri in the al-Faruq area. This operation dismantled hideouts and eliminated active terrorist facilities. Ground assessments verified significant damage to insurgent capabilities.

Recent operations extend these efforts. Today, airstrikes dislodged terrorists from hideouts in various Borno locations. The Air Force coordinated with ground troops to ensure maximum impact. These actions degrade terrorist networks across the region.

Air Commodore Ehimen Ejodame, Director of Public Relations and Information, states, "The Nigerian Air Force sustains relentless air interdiction campaigns. We cripple terrorist networks and deny them safe havens." He adds, "Our operations continue with precision and professionalism. We support joint forces to restore peace."

The strikes result in the neutralization of several terrorists. Forces destroyed motorcycles, weapons, and logistics bases. No civilian casualties occurred due to careful planning.

Moreover the Air Force collaborates with international partners. Recent U.S. surveillance aided targeting in the Timbuktu Triangle.06aa54 This partnership enhances operational effectiveness.

The Nigerian Air Force commits to ongoing missions. Officials urge citizens to report suspicious activities. Community support strengthens national security.
