Paris Saint-Germain head coach Luis Enrique has firmly denied reports of any internal disharmony within the squad, emphasizing unity and focus ahead of the team's crucial UEFA Champions League play-off first leg against AS Monaco.

Speaking at the pre-match press conference on the eve of the tie at Stade Louis II, Enrique addressed recent media speculation surrounding the team's dressing room atmosphere, particularly following a challenging period that included a 3-1 Ligue 1 defeat to Rennes.

The loss temporarily saw PSG slip from the top of the domestic table and heightened discussions about team cohesion amid a demanding schedule.

"There is always noise around PSG and we just have to accept it," Enrique stated. "We're not changing our mentality. The team remains united, and my relationship with the players is strong.

We are fully concentrated on the task ahead delivering the best version of PSG on the pitch."

The Spanish tactician highlighted the importance of maintaining discipline and collective responsibility, reiterating that no individual is above the club. "I will never allow any player to be above the club.

I am responsible for the team, and we move forward together," he added, underscoring his commitment to a unified approach that has characterized PSG's recent successes, including their status as reigning European champions.

The upcoming fixture against Monaco carries added significance as a Champions League knockout play-off, pitting two Ligue 1 rivals against each other on the continental stage.

PSG, despite recent setbacks, arrive motivated to reassert their dominance and advance in the competition they won last season.

Enrique expressed confidence in his squad's ability to respond: "We're motivated to play tomorrow. I want to see the best version of PSG focused, intense, and ready to compete at the highest level."

Paris Saint-Germain looks forward to a competitive and respectful encounter against AS Monaco and remains committed to its goals in both domestic and European competitions.
