The All Progressives Congress (APC) Forum, a coalition of progressive stakeholders, elder statesmen, and grassroots leaders within the party, has formally endorsed President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Rivers State Governor Siminalayi Fubara for re-election in the 2027 general elections.
The historic endorsement was announced today at the end of an expanded strategic meeting held at the APC State Secretariat in Port Harcourt. Forum leaders described the decision as a deliberate vote of confidence in the transformative leadership of both executives and a commitment to continuity, stability, and accelerated development across Nigeria and Rivers State.
In a communique signed by the Forum’s Chairman, Chief Ezebunwo Nyesom Wike, and Co-Chairman, Senator Magnus Abe, the
APC Forum stated: “President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda has restored Nigeria’s global economic standing, attracted unprecedented foreign investments, and laid a solid foundation for sustainable growth. In Rivers State, Governor Siminalayi Fubara has demonstrated visionary and people-centred leadership, delivering critical infrastructure, empowering youths and women, and ensuring peaceful coexistence despite inherited political challenges. The APC Forum is convinced that re-electing these two leaders will consolidate the gains already made and propel both the nation and the state to greater heights.”
The communique further noted that the Forum’s decision was reached after wide consultations with party leaders, traditional rulers, youth groups, women’s organisations, and critical stakeholders across the 23 local government areas of Rivers State and other parts of the country.
The APC Forum called on all members, supporters, and well-meaning Nigerians to begin immediate mobilisation in support of the Tinubu-Fubara ticket, describing the pair as “the best combination for a stronger, more prosperous Nigeria and a greater Rivers State.”
