Governor Dapo Abiodun of Ogun State has declared that the people of Ogun State are fully committed to delivering at least 95% of their votes for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in the 2027 presidential election, describing the commitment as a resounding endorsement of the President’s transformative leadership and vision for a greater Nigeria.

Speaking during a high-level stakeholders’ meeting in Abeokuta, Governor Abiodun emphasized that Ogun State remains a stronghold of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and a strategic pillar of support for President Tinubu’s re-election bid. He highlighted the significant developmental strides recorded under the Tinubu administration, particularly in infrastructure, economic reforms, and security, which he said have directly benefited the people of Ogun State.

“Our people have seen the difference. From the bold economic policies that are repositioning Nigeria globally to the massive investments in roads, rail, power, and human capital development, President Tinubu is delivering on his promises,” Governor Abiodun stated. “Ogun State will not only support him; we will deliver a historic 95% of the votes in 2027. This is not just a prediction it is a covenant with our people who have tasted good governance.”

The Governor commended the President’s Renewed Hope Agenda, noting its positive impact on industrial growth in Ogun State, attraction of foreign direct investments, and improved welfare of citizens. He called on all residents, party leaders, traditional rulers, youth, and market women to remain united and mobilized for the task ahead.

“President Tinubu’s leadership is one that prioritizes results over rhetoric. Ogun State, as the Gateway State, is proud to lead from the front in ensuring his second term. We are ready to deliver 95% and even more because the results are visible and the future is brighter.”

The declaration has been warmly received by APC leaders and supporters across the state, who described it as a reflection of the growing confidence in the Tinubu administration.
