A prominent political support group in Ondo State has mobilized massive backing for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and the All Progressives Congress (APC) as the nation prepares for the 2027 general elections.
The group, identified among key Tinubu support structures such as the Asiwaju Mandate Group (AMG), BTO for PBAT 2027 Movement, and the Grassroots Movement for Tinubu (GMT), staged rallies and strategic meetings to reaffirm unwavering commitment to the President’s re-election and the success of APC candidates across the state.
Leaders of the group praised President Tinubu’s leadership and the “Renewed Hope Agenda,” highlighting ongoing federal initiatives aimed at economic recovery, infrastructure development, and national stability. They called on all APC members and residents of Ondo State to unite behind the party, shun internal divisions, and focus on delivering victory in 2027.
“We are confident in President Tinubu’s vision for a greater Nigeria,” a spokesperson for the support group stated. “Ondo State will play a pivotal role in ensuring his re-election and the success of APC candidates at all levels. Our people have seen the impact of his policies and are ready to rally solidly behind him.”
The rallies come amid efforts to reconcile aggrieved party members following recent APC nomination processes. The groups applauded the National Working Committee (NWC) for its decisions and urged party faithful to embrace unity and reconciliation for the collective goal of retaining power in 2027.
Women and youth wings within the APC in Ondo State have also pledged significant vote shares, with some groups targeting up to 95% support for President Tinubu.
This coordinated show of support underscores the growing momentum for the APC in the Southwest and reflects confidence in President Tinubu’s ability to lead Nigeria through current challenges toward long-term prosperity.
