Kaduna State Governor, Senator Uba Sani, has declared that the 2027 presidential election is already concluded in favour of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, vowing that the state will deliver at least 95 per cent of its total votes to the President.
The Governor made the bold declaration on Tuesday during the flag-off of the 122-kilometre Kaduna–Birnin Gwari Road project.
Sani expressed strong confidence in Tinubu’s re-election prospects in Kaduna and the wider Northern region, describing the President’s performance as unmatched by any previous leader.
“I have no doubt in my mind 2027 election has been concluded. I have no doubt in my mind, we are giving Mr President at least 95% of the total votes. There’s no doubt about that and I stand to be challenged,” Sani stated.
He described Kaduna as the political and economic heart of Northern Nigeria, noting that development in the state benefits the entire region.
“I want to assure you Kaduna is the capital of Northern Nigeria. Everyone is proud of Kaduna. Kaduna’s development is the development for all the states of Northern Nigeria, whether we like it or not,” the Governor said.
Sani praised President Tinubu for recognising Kaduna’s strategic importance and pledged unwavering political support.
“So we are happy. We are grateful to the president for recognizing that Kaduna is the heart of Northern Nigeria. We’ll continue to show our support. We will continue to support the president.”
The Governor reiterated that no Nigerian president in history has undertaken as many development projects in Northern Nigeria as Tinubu. He referenced ongoing federal projects, including the Western Bypass and the imminent resumption of work on the Eastern Bypass, as evidence of the administration’s commitment to the region.
“When about two months ago, I came out boldly and I said, ‘No president in the history of Nigeria has done what President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has done for us here in Northern Nigeria,’ and I challenged everyone to come up with anything contrary to what I’ve said,” Sani recalled.
He concluded by thanking the President “for the love of the North, for the love for humanity, for the love for progress.”
