Former Governor of Katsina State Aminu Bello Masari has described the reforms of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s administration as laying the foundation for increased productivity, improved connectivity and sustainable economic growth.
Aminu Bello Masari made the remarks on 9 July 2026 in Abuja while chairing the inauguration of the PBAT Door-to-Door movement, a socio-political group formed to mobilise grassroots support for President Tinubu’s re-election bid in 2027.
He stated that the administration had made significant investments in infrastructure, agriculture, education, healthcare, digital innovation and security under the Renewed Hope Agenda.
Aminu Bello Masari said: “Through major road construction projects, roads development, power sector reforms, and the expansion of energy infrastructure, these investments are laying the foundation for increased productivity, improved connectivity and sustainable economic growth.”
He noted that reforms in the agricultural sector aimed to strengthen food security through increased support for farmers, improved access to agricultural inputs and expanded initiatives. These measures, he added, would boost domestic food production and create jobs across the agricultural value chain.
Aminu Bello Masari further observed that the administration had prioritised investments in education, healthcare, digital education and youth empowerment through skills acquisition programmes and student financing initiatives. The objective, he said, is to equip young Nigerians with the skills needed to compete in a rapidly changing global economy.
He also highlighted ongoing efforts to strengthen security through improved coordination among security agencies, enhanced intelligence gathering and increased operational capacity to address insecurity across the country.
“The objective remains clear: to create an inclusive economy where opportunities are available for all Nigerians,” Aminu Bello Masari stated.
