Nigerian actor and content creator Debo Adebayo, popularly known as Mr Macaroni, publicly thanked music executive Don Jazzy and Super Eagles forward Victor Osimhen for the support they provided during one of the hardest moments of his life.
In a social media post, Mr Macaroni said he had been reflecting on what he lost instead of giving thanks for the help that saw him through. “I think this is God’s way of telling me to also be thankful!!! I have been thinking too much about what I lost instead of thanking God for seeing me through one of the hardest moments of my life,” he wrote.
He disclosed that he cried heavily the previous night and morning after receiving messages about acts of kindness he had once performed for others. Mr Macaroni, who said he was more accustomed to giving than receiving, noted that he eventually sought help during his struggles.
He specifically thanked Don Jazzy for consistent support dating back to his university days. “To Don Jazzy, who has been giving me since my university days up till now, I thank you from the bottom of my heart for all you do, not just for me but for so many others!!!” he stated.
Mr Macaroni also acknowledged Victor Osimhen and Pastor Bolaji for their assistance. In addition, he expressed deep appreciation to his close circle, whom he called “Mr Macaroni & Friends.” “To my closest people in the World (Mr Macaroni & Friends) Thank you for not neglecting me even when you had every reason to. Thank you for saving me,” he wrote.
He further revealed that God used one unnamed person to settle all his debts repeatedly. “God used one person to settle all that I owed! And this help came over and over again! I don’t think any sane person would do what he did for me without God’s intervention!” he added.
