Former Kogi State Governor Yahaya Bello has provided N30 million to support the aviation training of Enejoh Faith, a Kogi indigene pursuing her dream of becoming a pilot.

According to a statement issued by Bello’s spokesperson, Onogwu Muhammed, the former governor first met Faith and her father on July 17, 2025, when the family visited his residence in Abuja to seek financial assistance for her training. Bello subsequently assumed full responsibility for the cost of the programme.

The statement noted that the aviation training programme cost approximately N30 million. Bello provided more than the amount initially requested in anticipation of additional expenses Faith might incur during her studies.

On Monday night, Faith and her family returned to Bello’s residence to express their gratitude and update him on her progress. Her father reported that Faith scored 89 per cent in her public pilot licence examination and has completed her training in preparation for the next stage of her aviation career.
