The Living Faith Church, also known as Winners Chapel, is deeply concerned about the kidnapping of one of its pastors by bandits in Kogi State. The incident happened on December 28, 2025, in Okoro Gbedde, Ijumu Local Government Area, along the Okeoffin–Okoro Gbedde road.
The pastor was on his way to his farm on a motorcycle with a local rider when armed men stopped them. The pastor tried to run away but was caught and taken to an unknown place. The rider escaped without harm. No one was hurt or killed in this attack, and the kidnappers have not yet asked for any money or contacted the family or church.
This sad event has made people in Okoro Gbedde and nearby areas very scared. It shows the growing problem of insecurity in the region. The church is praying for the safe return of the pastor and is working with local leaders to handle the situation.
