This emergency determination, authorized under the Arms Export Control Act, allows the sale to proceed without the standard congressional review process due to an urgent national security situation amid escalating tensions in the Middle East, including ongoing conflict involving Iran.

The approved package includes 12,000 BLU-110A/B general-purpose bomb bodies, each weighing 1,000 pounds (approximately 470 kilograms).

These munitions are intended to enhance Israel's defense capabilities against current and emerging threats. The principal U.S. contractor is Repkon USA of Texas, with additional logistical, technical, and program support provided.

This sale underscores the longstanding U.S.-Israel security partnership and the commitment to ensuring Israel's qualitative military edge in a volatile region.

It will strengthen interoperability between U.S. and Israeli forces while supporting Israel's ability to deter aggression and defend its sovereignty.

The U.S. government continues to prioritize rapid support for key allies facing immediate security challenges, contributing to regional stability and the protection of shared interests.
