Kano State Governor, Abba Kabir Yusuf, has confidently declared that he will seek and serve a second term in office under the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC).

Addressing a gathering of party leaders, supporters, and stakeholders in Kano today, Governor Yusuf left no doubt about his political future, stating unequivocally that his next four years will be delivered under the APC flag.

“I’ll serve second term in APC,” Governor Yusuf boasted. “The people of Kano have seen what we can achieve together. With the progressive vision of the APC, we will build on the solid foundation we have laid and take Kano to even greater heights.”

The Governor highlighted the achievements of his administration, including massive investments in road infrastructure, improved access to healthcare and education, youth empowerment programmes, and agricultural revolution initiatives that have continued to transform the lives of ordinary Kano residents.

He described the decision to align with the APC as a strategic move aimed at delivering more dividends of democracy to the people, stressing that the party’s national structure and progressive policies perfectly align with his vision for a modern, prosperous Kano.

“This is not about personal ambition; it is about the future of our state and the well-being of our people,” he added. “Together with the APC, we will ensure that Kano remains the undisputed centre of commerce, agriculture, and human capital development in Nigeria.”

Party chieftains present at the event welcomed the Governor’s declaration, describing it as a major boost for the APC in Kano State ahead of the 2027 general elections.

Governor Yusuf urged all well-meaning citizens, especially the youth and women, to join the APC and work towards a resounding victory that will consolidate the gains already recorded.
