Offset (Kiari Kendrell Cephus), the acclaimed rapper and former member of the multi-platinum hip-hop trio Migos, was shot Monday evening in the valet area outside the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Hollywood, Florida. He is currently hospitalized in stable condition and is being closely monitored by medical professionals.
According to a statement from Offset’s representative, the artist was injured in the incident and was immediately transported to a local hospital for treatment. “We can confirm Offset was shot and is currently at the hospital receiving medical care,” the spokesperson said. “He is in stable condition and being closely monitored. We appreciate the outpouring of love and support from fans and ask for privacy during this time as he focuses on his recovery.”
Hollywood Police responded to the scene and have detained two individuals in connection with the shooting. The circumstances surrounding the incident remain under active investigation, and no further details have been released at this time.
