The National Youth Service Corps has approved Thursday, May 21, 2026, as the official passing-out date for members of the 2025 Batch ‘A’ Stream II.
The announcement was made in a statement issued by the NYSC Director of Information and Public Relations, Caroline Embu. Activities leading up to the passing-out ceremony will commence on Tuesday, May 5, 2026, and will include Job Advisory and Counselling (JAC) sessions conducted by the NYSC and relevant partner agencies, as well as the signing of final clearance by Zonal Inspectors.
The low-key event will feature the distribution of Certificates of National Service to deserving Corps Members across all Local Government Areas in the country.
The Director-General of the NYSC, Brig.-Gen. Olakunle Nafiu, extended his best wishes to the outgoing Corps Members for a successful winding-up and passing-out exercise. He urged them to uphold the core values of the NYSC in their future endeavours and to serve as worthy ambassadors of the Scheme in their post-service lives.
This milestone marks the successful completion of the one-year mandatory national service for the 2025 Batch ‘A’ Stream II Corps Members who were deployed in 2025.
The NYSC congratulates all Corps Members on their dedication and contributions to national development during their service year and wishes them success in all future endeavours.
