President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, has declared that his administration is firmly laying the foundation for a New Nigeria through bold reforms, strategic infrastructure development, and inclusive economic policies under the Renewed Hope Agenda.
Speaking during the flag-off of major infrastructure projects, including the construction of the Southern Parkway carriageways in Abuja, President Tinubu emphasized that three years of difficult but necessary reforms such as fuel subsidy removal, foreign exchange unification, and tax reforms are beginning to yield tangible results and position Nigeria for sustained growth and prosperity.
“My Administration is laying the foundation for a New Nigeria,” President Tinubu affirmed. “We are building a more resilient, inclusive, and dynamic economy where opportunities abound for every citizen. The sacrifices of today are the bedrock of a brighter tomorrow for our children and generations yet unborn.”
The President noted that projects like the Abuja Southern Parkway demonstrate the administration’s commitment to addressing long-standing infrastructural deficits and easing the daily challenges faced by citizens. He commended the Federal Capital Territory Administration under Minister Nyesom Wike for driving these initiatives, with completion targeted for early 2027.
President Tinubu reiterated his commitment to fiscal prudence, anti-corruption measures, and private sector-led growth, assuring Nigerians that the worst of the economic transition is behind the nation.
“The Renewed Hope Agenda is not just a slogan it is a deliberate and methodical transformation that will deliver shared prosperity,” he added.
The President called on all Nigerians leaders, citizens, and the private sector to remain united and patient as the country consolidates these gains and moves towards a more prosperous future.
