Former Governor of Kano State and immediate past National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, has dismissed any potential presidential ticket pairing Senator Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso and Mr. Peter Obi as “dead on arrival” in Kano State, describing it as politically unviable and lacking the grassroots support needed to succeed.

In a strongly worded statement, Dr. Ganduje asserted that the proposed alliance would fail to make any meaningful impact in Kano, a critical electoral battleground, due to shifting political realities and Kwankwaso’s diminishing influence in his home state.

“The Obi-Kwankwaso ticket is dead on arrival in Kano,” Ganduje declared, emphasizing that voters in the state have moved beyond past alignments and are focused on progressive leadership under the APC.
