President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, has reaffirmed his administration’s unwavering commitment to delivering tangible results for Nigerians, emphasizing that the government is focused on service and development rather than merely holding office.
Speaking through Senate President Godswill Akpabio at the inauguration of the newly constructed Akinwumi Ajibola Street (comprising Important Local Streets ILS 16, 18, and 19) in Gaduwa District, Abuja, President Tinubu highlighted the project as a clear demonstration of the Renewed Hope Agenda in action.
“We are here to open a road, but more importantly, we are here to restore access,” the President stated. “Under the Renewed Hope Agenda, we said clearly: we did not come to occupy space. We came to work. Today, that promise is visible on these streets.
He further noted that his administration measures success by completed projects, pointing to the prompt funding, timely execution, and high-quality delivery of the road, including associated drainage systems and street lighting.
“This street is finished work,” President Tinubu declared, underscoring the government’s resolve to ensure infrastructure projects across the country translate into improved quality of life for citizens.
The inauguration event reflects broader efforts under the Renewed Hope Agenda to enhance urban infrastructure, restore accessibility, and drive sustainable development in the Federal Capital Territory and beyond. Projects like this are part of ongoing initiatives to unlock economic potential and deliver on promises made to the Nigerian people.
