Seyi Tinubu, son of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, has been conferred with the Christian Youth Peace Ambassador Award by the Youth Wing of the Christian Association of Nigeria (YOWICAN).
The recognition was presented during the National Christian Youth Security Summit and Thanksgiving held in Abuja. YOWICAN leadership cited Tinubu’s contributions to peace-building, youth development, and national unity. He was represented at the event by Ambassador Belusochukwu Enwere, who received the award on his behalf.
In a message of appreciation, Tinubu described the honour as a call to greater responsibility. He emphasized that true peace extends beyond the absence of conflict and requires justice, compassion, tolerance, mutual respect, and collective commitment to the common good.
He urged young Nigerians to view religious, ethnic, and cultural differences as sources of strength and pledged continued support for initiatives that empower youth and promote peaceful coexistence.
