The African Action Congress (AAC) has formally petitioned the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), demanding an urgent and comprehensive investigation into alleged financial improprieties linked to the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Chief Nyesom Wike.
Speaking at a press briefing, AAC National Publicity Secretary, Comrade Adebola Akinyemi, stated:
“The scale and audacity of these alleged transactions are not only alarming but an insult to the millions of Nigerians suffering under economic hardship. We demand accountability, not theatrics.”
AAC emphasized that the EFCC must act swiftly and impartially, asserting that the credibility of Nigeria’s anti-corruption institutions is at stake.
