Paris Saint-Germain Féminines are proud to announce the signing of Nigerian international Rasheedat Ajibade on a contract that runs until June 30, 2027. The dynamic forward, widely celebrated for her electrifying performances and leadership on the pitch, joins Les Parisiennes following a successful stint with Atlético de Madrid.
Ajibade, 25, arrives in Paris as the reigning Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON) Player of the Tournament, having captained Nigeria to their record 10th continental title in Morocco. Her signing marks a significant step in PSG’s ambition to reclaim domestic dominance and make a deeper impact in the UEFA Women’s Champions League.
“I’m deeply honoured to be joining Paris Saint-Germain, a top-drawer club in Europe. This is a major step for me, and I’m committed to giving my all to help PSG win titles and to inspire young footballers, be they in Nigeria or elsewhere,” said Ajibade.
Born in Lagos, Ajibade began her career with FC Robo Queens before moving to Avaldsnes IL in Norway and later Atlético Madrid, where she tallied over 40 goals and lifted the Copa de la Reina in 2023. Her versatility, creativity, and relentless pressing make her a formidable addition to PSG’s attacking arsenal.
