The Nigerian Air Force (NAF), under the Air Component of Operation Hadin Kai, has successfully executed precision airstrikes that neutralized more than 15 terrorists in Borno State, marking a significant milestone in the ongoing counterterrorism efforts in the North-East.

According to Air Commodore Ehimen Ejodame, Director of Public Relations and Information, the operation was carried out on September 3, 2025, following credible intelligence and confirmatory surveillance. The targeted strikes hit a newly identified terrorist enclave west of Zuwa in the Sambisa general area—an infamous stronghold for insurgent activity.

“The mission was carefully planned and executed, targeting hideouts harboring fighters and commanders responsible for recent hostilities around Bitta,” said Air Commodore Ejodame. “The strikes proved devastating, neutralizing over 15 terrorists and demolishing key structures critical to their operations.”

The operation not only eliminated high-value targets but also disrupted the insurgents’ logistical and operational capabilities. The success of this mission underscores the NAF’s unwavering commitment to safeguarding the lives and property of Nigerians while providing vital air support to ground forces engaged in joint operations.
