As Nigeria marks its 65th Independence Anniversary, the Lagos State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has lauded President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for his visionary leadership, describing him as the “leader for the moment” in a time of national renewal and transformation.
In a statement issued by the Lagos APC Publicity Secretary, the party praised President Tinubu’s bold economic reforms, commitment to infrastructure development, and efforts to reposition Nigeria on the global stage. The statement emphasized that Tinubu’s leadership reflects the resilience, innovation, and determination that have defined Nigeria’s journey since independence.
“At 65, Nigeria stands at a critical juncture. We are proud to have a leader in President Tinubu who understands the urgency of now,” the statement read. “His policies are laying the foundation for a more prosperous, secure, and united Nigeria.”
The Lagos APC also commended the President’s focus on youth empowerment, digital innovation, and inclusive governance, noting that these priorities align with the aspirations of a new generation of Nigerians.
As part of the Independence Day celebrations, the party called on citizens to reflect on the sacrifices of past heroes and to renew their commitment to building a stronger nation. It also urged Nigerians to support the administration’s efforts to tackle challenges and unlock the country’s full potential.
