Rivers Is Calm and Secure, Says Governor Fubara

Governor Siminalayi Fubara has reaffirmed that Rivers State remains safe, peaceful, and open for business, assuring residents and investors of the government’s commitment to sustaining stability across the region.  





Speaking at a public engagement with community leaders and stakeholders, Governor Fubara emphasized that despite recent concerns, the state continues to enjoy relative calm and security. He highlighted ongoing efforts by his administration to strengthen law enforcement, foster dialogue among communities, and promote development initiatives that reinforce peace.  







“Rivers State is safe, Rivers State is peaceful,” Governor Fubara declared. “Our people are resilient, our communities are united, and our government is working tirelessly to ensure that every resident and visitor feels secure.”  







Governor Fubara also stressed that peace is essential for progress, urging all stakeholders to continue supporting the government’s vision for a prosperous Rivers State. He noted that the state’s strategic position as an economic hub makes security and stability a top priority.
