United Nigeria Airlines has confirmed that social media personality VeryDarkMan and comedian Mr. Jollof were deboarded and handed over to airport security following a heated altercation that broke out during a scheduled flight on Monday.
According to the airline, the incident occurred mid-flight when a disagreement between the two passengers escalated into a verbal confrontation, causing discomfort and distraction onboard. Cabin crew members intervened to restore order and ensure the safety of all passengers and crew.
In an official statement, the airline said:
“United Nigeria Airlines prioritizes the safety, security, and comfort of every passenger. When onboard conduct threatens these standards, our crew is mandated to act swiftly and professionally. Following protocol, the involved passengers were deboarded upon landing and handed over to airport security for further investigation.”
Airport authorities have acknowledged receipt of the individuals and have begun reviewing the situation, including speaking with crew members and witnesses to determine whether additional actions or penalties may be necessary.
