The Federal Government of Nigeria has confirmed that a joint police and military operation is underway to rescue 25 students abducted by terrorists from a secondary school in Kebbi State.
Minister of Information and National Orientation, speaking on behalf of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, stated: “The safety of our children is non-negotiable. The government will not relent until every student is rescued and returned safely to their families. Justice will be pursued against those who perpetrated this heinous act.”
The President has directed the security chiefs to ensure that the operation prioritizes the lives of the abducted students while dismantling the criminal networks behind the attack.
