Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu today delivered a resolute message to the nation and the world, affirming Israel's unwavering commitment to continue its military campaign against Iran with full determination until victory is achieved.
In a televised address amid the ongoing conflict now in its second week Prime Minister Netanyahu declared that Israel, in close coordination with the United States, has secured near-total control of the skies over Tehran following intensive airstrikes.
He emphasized a "systematic plan to eradicate the Iranian regime" and to accomplish broader strategic objectives, including the elimination of the nuclear threat to Israel and the region.
"We have a systematic plan to eradicate the Iranian regime and achieve many other objectives," Netanyahu stated. "Citizens, you are telling me, the government, and our heroic soldiers to continue until victory, and I thank you. I can assure you that we will continue with all our force."
The Prime Minister highlighted the success of joint Israeli-U.S. operations, which have targeted Iranian military infrastructure, leadership, missile and drone capabilities, and other strategic assets.
He noted that Israel has conducted thousands of strikes, dropping substantial munitions in the first week alone, and promised "many more surprises" and escalated actions in the coming phase.
Addressing the people of Iran directly, Netanyahu spoke of the "moment of truth" approaching, framing the campaign as an opportunity for liberation from what he described as the "yoke of tyranny." He asserted that the conflict's outcome would not only neutralize threats to Israel but also foster peace and expand the circle of regional alliances.
The war began with coordinated strikes last week that eliminated Iran's Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei and numerous senior regime figures. Iran has since launched retaliatory missile and drone attacks across the region, drawing in additional fronts including Lebanon and Gulf states.
Prime Minister Netanyahu reiterated that Israel remains fully mobilized and prepared to press forward decisively. "Our success will bring not only the removal of the nuclear threat to the entire world, and not only peace between Israel and Iran. It will also bring a dramatic expansion of the circle of peace around us," he said.
Israel Defense Forces continue operations in full coordination with allies, with no indication of de-escalation absent Iran's unconditional surrender or the complete dismantling of its threatening capabilities.
