The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has officially directed all candidates registered for the 2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) to immediately print their examination slips.

The reprinting portal for the 2026 UTME examination slips opened today, Thursday, April 9, 2026. Candidates are strongly advised to print their slips without delay to confirm their specific examination date, time, venue, and other critical details ahead of the main UTME, which commences on Thursday, April 16, 2026.

To print the examination slip, candidates should: Visit the official JAMB examination slip printing portal at https://slipsprinting.jamb.gov.ng/PrintExaminationSlip. Enter their JAMB registration number (or other required details as prompted).

Generate and print a clear copy of the slip (preferably in colour). JAMB emphasizes that the printed examination slip is mandatory for entry into the Computer-Based Test (CBT) centres. Candidates without a valid printed slip will not be allowed to sit for the examination.

“All candidates who registered for the 2026 UTME are urged to print their examination slips as soon as the portal becomes accessible. This simple step will help avoid unnecessary stress and ensure they are fully prepared for their scheduled examination session,” the Board stated.

The Board further reminds candidates to: Print their slips early to prevent portal congestion closer to the examination dates. Verify all details on the slip (including photograph, examination centre, date, and time). Keep the printed slip safe and bring it along with a valid means of identification to the examination venue.

For any challenges encountered while printing, candidates are advised to contact JAMB support through the official channels provided on the portal or visit the nearest JAMB office.

The 2026 UTME is a crucial gateway for admission into tertiary institutions in Nigeria. JAMB remains committed to ensuring a smooth, transparent, and hitch-free examination process for all candidates.
