Senator Barau Jibrin Distributes 47 Cars and 282 Motorcycles to APC Leaders in Kano

In continuation of his ongoing mega empowerment programme, the Deputy President of the Senate, Senator Barau Jibrin, has distributed 47 Sharon cars and 282 Boxer motorcycles to leaders of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Kano North Senatorial District.The beneficiaries include APC chairmen and secretaries from the 13 Local Government Areas in the district, as well as former party officials and other stakeholders.


The distribution, which took place on Wednesday, forms part of Senator Barau’s broader initiative aimed at promoting self-reliance, human capital development, and poverty alleviation at the grassroots level. The gesture is also aligned with the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Bola Tinubu.


Shittu Madaki, Media Aide to Senator Barau Jibrin, confirmed the items distributed and noted that “more of such goodies are coming soon.”Muhammad Abdullahi, Chief of Staff to the Deputy President of the Senate, described the gesture as a blessing to the people of Kano North, stating that the items would help stimulate human development and make life easier for the beneficiaries.


He added: “Kano North Senatorial District is blessed with the Deputy President of the Senate, who kept on distributing goods that would help stimulate human development and make life easy for those who benefit from them.”Salihu Takai, State Coordinator of the Renewed Hope Agenda, commended the initiative, saying it mirrors President Tinubu’s agenda at the grassroots level by removing poverty from locals and their families.


“This is not the first of his interventions on human and capital development for his Kano North Senatorial District, and will certainly not be the last,” Takai said.Beneficiaries have been urged to utilise the vehicles productively to generate income rather than dispose of them, ensuring the empowerment programme achieves its intended impact.
