The FBI’s Salt Lake City Field Office has released new video footage and images of the suspect involved in the fatal shooting of conservative activist Charlie Kirk, which occurred on September 10, 2025, at Utah Valley University.
The footage shows the suspect climbing onto a rooftop shortly before the attack and fleeing the scene moments after firing the fatal shots. Investigators have recovered a high-powered, bolt-action rifle and ammunition in a wooded area near the university, believed to be the weapon used in the assassination.
The FBI is actively seeking public assistance in identifying the individual captured in the video. A reward of $100,000 is being offered for information leading to the identification and arrest of the suspect.
Forensic teams have collected trace evidence from the rooftop, including shoe impressions, a forearm imprint, and a palm print. The FBI is working closely with local and state law enforcement to ensure justice is served.
