Chelsea Football Club today confirmed that former player and Nigeria international Victor Moses will host an exclusive supporters’ event when the club visits Lagos in May 2026.
The special fan engagement, organised in partnership with the Chelsea Nigeria Supporters’ Club, will give local Blues fans the opportunity to meet and interact with one of Nigeria’s most celebrated Premier League exports. Moses, who made 157 appearances for Chelsea and won the UEFA Champions League, FA Cup, and UEFA Europa League during his time at Stamford Bridge, will lead a meet-and-greet, Q&A session, and photo opportunities for supporters.
Chelsea’s visit to Lagos forms part of the club’s continued commitment to its growing global fanbase and its long-standing connection with Nigerian football. The club will also participate in community activities and a high-profile friendly match during the May trip.
Speaking ahead of the event, Victor Moses said: “I’m incredibly proud to be back in Lagos hosting Chelsea fans. Nigeria gave me my footballing roots and Chelsea gave me the platform to succeed. Bringing the two together for our supporters is going to be very special. I can’t wait to see the energy and passion of the Chelsea family right here at home.”
Chelsea FC Head of International Development, Paul McGuinness, added: “Victor is a true Chelsea legend and a hero to millions of fans across Africa. Having him host our supporters during our Lagos visit perfectly symbolises the strong bond between the club and its Nigerian fanbase. We look forward to an unforgettable week celebrating football with the Blues in Lagos.”
The exact date and venue for the Victor Moses supporters’ event will be announced in the coming weeks. Tickets will be available exclusively to members of the Chelsea Nigeria Supporters’ Club and will be limited.
