The family and political associates of former Deputy Governor of Bauchi State, Architect Audu Sule-Katagum (Wazirin Katagum), have announced his passing with profound sadness. He died in the early hours of Saturday, June 20, 2026, at the age of 69.
Arch. Audu Sule-Katagum served as Deputy Governor of Bauchi State from 2018 to 2019 during the administration of former Governor Mohammed Abdullahi Abubakar of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP). He was widely respected for his contributions to public service, community development, and his role in the state’s political landscape.
The announcement was made by Shamsuddeen Lukman Abubakar, former digital and creative media aide to Governor Mohammed Abdullahi Abubakar, who described the deceased as a revered political leader and dedicated public servant.
