The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has officially activated the portal for candidates to print their 2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) Original Result Slips.
This development comes after the conclusion of foreign examinations and mop-up tests, following earlier delays in activating the printing feature. The original result slips, which include candidates’ photographs, national rankings, and essential security features, are now available and required for post-UTME screenings and admission processes into tertiary institutions.
JAMB’s Public Communications Advisor, Dr. Fabian Benjamin, confirmed the activation, urging all candidates to access and print their slips promptly while verifying the details for accuracy.
Candidates are advised to use only accredited CBT centres where necessary and to keep multiple copies safe. JAMB warns against falling victim to scams or fraudulent agents offering fake slips.
“The Original Result Slip is a critical document for the admission process. We encourage all candidates to print theirs immediately and cross-check all information,” the Board stated.
This timely release supports the smooth progression of the 2026/2027 admission cycle across Nigerian universities, polytechnics, and colleges of education.
