Obafemi Hamzat, the All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship candidate for Lagos State, has intensified his engagements with Christian communities across the state ahead of the 2027 governorship election.
Hamzat visited several churches in recent days. These included the Love of Christ Generation Church in Oniru, Harvesters International Christian Centre, and Christ Embassy.
At Harvesters International Christian Centre, he attended the AWAKENING 2026 event. He met with Pastor Bolaji Idowu and members of the congregation. Pastor Idowu urged him to prioritise the welfare of the people if elected governor.
Hamzat also joined the 19th anniversary celebration of the Love of Christ Generation Church in Oniru. He congratulated the church on its years of service and impact in the community.
At Christ Embassy, he met with the church leadership led by Pastor Chris Oyakhilome. He highlighted the important role of faith-based organisations in supporting families, empowering young people, and strengthening communities.
Hamzat described the gatherings as moments of reflection and hope. He said Lagos could achieve greater progress through unity and the right values.
