The Bauchi State Government has announced the immediate termination of the appointment of Hajiya Zainab Baban-Takko as Commissioner for Women Affairs and Child Development.
In a statement issued by Mr. Mukhtar Gidado, Special Adviser on Media and Publicity to Governor Bala Mohammed, the decision was described as part of a minor reshuffle within the State Executive Council aimed at enhancing administrative efficiency and service delivery.
“In that respect, the Honourable Commissioner for Women Affairs and Child Development, Hajiya Zainab Baban-Takko, has been relieved of her appointment with immediate effect,” the statement read.
Governor Bala Mohammed expressed appreciation for the commissioner’s contributions during her tenure and extended best wishes for her future endeavors.
