Former Kogi State Governor Yahaya Bello has described President Bola Ahmed Tinubu as “an angel sent by God to fix Nigeria,” in a statement that has stirred reactions across political circles and social media platforms.

Speaking during a televised interview with News Central TV, Bello commended Tinubu’s leadership style and reform agenda, asserting that the President’s policies are laying the foundation for a more prosperous and secure Nigeria. “President Tinubu is the angel sent to fix Nigeria,” Bello declared, emphasizing his belief in Tinubu’s divine mandate to lead the country through its current challenges.

Bello, a prominent member of the All Progressives Congress (APC), served as governor of Kogi State from 2016 to 2024 and remains an influential voice within the party. His endorsement of Tinubu’s presidency comes amid ongoing national debates about economic reforms, security strategies, and governance transparency.

“We must rally behind President Tinubu and support his vision. He is not just a leader; he is a solution,” Bello added.

The former governor’s remarks align with recent statements from other APC leaders who have praised Tinubu’s efforts to stabilize the economy, attract foreign investment, and combat insecurity. However, critics argue that such declarations may overlook pressing concerns about inflation, unemployment, and public trust.
