Popular social media influencer Grace Akanni-Lawrence, widely known as Lady Motara, has captivated audiences and critics alike with her impressive stage debut in the hit Nollywood comedy No Wahala Therapy.

Performed over two nights on May 2nd and 3rd, 2026, at Gateway House in Woolwich, London, the production marked Lady Motara’s first foray into live theatre. The bold, funny, and relatable comedy explores the realities of Nigerian life in the UK touching on themes of identity, survival, pride, and community.

Sharing the stage with renowned Nollywood stars including Odunlade Adekola, Timini Egbuson, BamBam (Bamike Olawunmi), and Ronke Oshodi Oke, Lady Motara delivered a standout performance that earned rave reviews from audiences and industry observers.

Directed by Mofe Duncan, the play blended sharp humour with poignant “japa” stories, delighting packed houses across both evening and matinee shows.

In a statement following the shows, Lady Motara expressed her gratitude: “First time on stage. First time acting. And according to London, I killed my performance. So let it be known that OMOTARA Aniuntoyinbooni has no limits. I’m eternally grateful to M54 Studios for believing in me, my director Mofe Duncan for his guidance, and my incredible castmates for making my debut unforgettable.”
