President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has assured Nigerians that the ongoing economic and governance reforms of his administration will positively impact every citizen, laying a solid foundation for shared prosperity and national development.
Speaking during a high-level engagement, President Tinubu reaffirmed his commitment to ensuring that the benefits of key reforms reach households across the country. He described the reforms as necessary though challenging steps aimed at correcting long-standing structural imbalances in the economy.
“So we are working together to ensure that every Nigerian feels the impact of our reforms,” the President stated. He emphasized that the policies are designed to foster sustainable growth, create opportunities, and improve the quality of life for all citizens, regardless of region or socio-economic background.
President Tinubu highlighted progress in areas such as GDP growth, exchange rate stability, and efforts to curb inflation, noting that 2026 will usher in a more robust phase of economic recovery. He called for unity and patience, urging Nigerians to look beyond short-term difficulties towards the long-term gains of a stronger, more resilient economy.
The President further stressed that his administration remains focused on job creation, support for small businesses, enhanced social welfare programs, and investments in critical infrastructure to ensure tangible dividends of democracy are delivered nationwide.
“As we implement these reforms, no Nigerian will be left behind. We are building a Nigeria that works for everyone,” he added.
This assurance comes as the administration continues to engage stakeholders, including the private sector, civil society, and sub-national governments, to align efforts towards inclusive growth.
The Presidency remains committed to transparency, accountability, and delivering on the Renewed Hope Agenda for a better Nigeria.
