In a bold call to action, Kenneth Okonkwo, a prominent chieftain of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) and former spokesperson for Peter Obi's 2023 presidential campaign, has urged all supporters of Peter Obi to formally join the ADC.

Okonkwo emphasized that following Peter Obi's recent alignment with the party, any Obi supporter not registered with the ADC can no longer be considered a true "Obidient," labeling such individuals as "DisObidient."

Speaking during a recent media interaction, Okonkwo stated, "When I was in the Labour Party, I said it was a tactical mistake telling your supporters not to join a political party.

Now that Peter Obi has joined ADC, any refusal to do so amounts to disobedience.".He argued that true loyalty to Obi's vision for a better Nigeria requires active participation within the ADC framework, warning that remaining outside the party undermines the collective movement.

Okonkwo's remarks come amid ongoing political realignments in Nigeria as parties prepare for future elections. He highlighted the ADC as the new home for the Obidient movement, stressing that only members of the party can genuinely advance Obi's ideals of good governance, economic reform, and anti-corruption efforts.

"This is not about division but about unity and strategy," Okonkwo added. "Obidients who are not in ADC are DisObidients – it's time to register and build the future together."
