The national leadership of the City Boy Movement (CBM), a dynamic youth-oriented support group championing the Renewed Hope Agenda and President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s vision for Nigeria, today firmly addressed recent rumors and misinformation circulating in the media and online platforms.

The Movement categorically confirms that Mr. Pascal Okechukwu, popularly known as Cubana Chief Priest, remains the duly appointed and officially recognized Director for Imo State. No changes have been made to this appointment, and no new or alternative leadership has been authorized or validated in Imo State.

In a statement issued by the Director-General of the City Boy Movement, Francis Shoga, the organization described reports suggesting an internal review or alteration of the Imo State leadership as misleading, baseless, and entirely inaccurate.

“The only officially recognized and duly appointed figure in Imo State remains Mr. Pascal Okechukwu, better known as Cubana Chief Priest,” Shoga stated.

“His appointment stands firm, backed by his proven dedication, strategic leadership, and unwavering commitment to the growth of the Movement and the advancement of our national agenda.”

Cubana Chief Priest was appointed as Imo State Director earlier this month, with the Movement highlighting his extensive experience, widespread influence, and people-centered approach to mobilizing support, strengthening grassroots structures, and promoting inclusive development.

Since assuming the role, he has actively engaged communities in Imo State, launching initiatives focused on empowerment, unity, and sustained political participation in line with the Renewed Hope Agenda.

The City Boy Movement emphasized that such baseless rumors will not distract from its core mission of empowering Nigerian youth, fostering progress, and building stronger support for effective leadership and national development.

“We appreciate the enthusiasm and support from our members and the public. We urge everyone to disregard unfounded claims and focus on the real work ahead,” the statement added.
