The dissolution includes all Commissioners and Special Advisers, who have been directed to hand over to the Permanent Secretaries or the most senior officers in their respective Ministries without delay.

In a statement issued by the Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Mr. Onwuka Nzeshi, Governor Fubara expressed profound gratitude to the outgoing members of the Executive Council for their dedicated service to the people of Rivers State.

He commended their contributions to the administration's efforts in driving development, good governance, and the welfare of citizens during their tenure.

The Governor wished the former appointees success in their future endeavors and reaffirmed his commitment to repositioning the administration for greater efficiency and renewed focus on delivering dividends of democracy to Rivers people.

This decision follows recent reconciliation efforts in the state, including engagements mediated by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, aimed at resolving long standing political differences and fostering lasting peace.

The move is seen as part of measures to provide a fresh start and strengthen the governance framework in line with the evolving needs of the state.

Governor Fubara assured residents that the machinery of government remains fully operational, with civil servants ensuring seamless continuity of services across all sectors.

The Governor called on all stakeholders to continue supporting his administration's vision for a peaceful, prosperous, and progressive Rivers State.
