Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu appeared in a Tel Aviv court today for the latest hearing in his long-running corruption trial, reigniting public scrutiny over allegations that have shadowed his political career since 2020.

Netanyahu, accompanied by several ministers from his conservative Likud party, maintained a composed demeanor despite being heckled by protesters outside the courthouse. The hearing comes amid renewed international attention following recent comments by U.S. President Donald Trump, who suggested the Israeli leader should be pardoned in his three separate corruption cases.

Case 1000: Allegations that he and his wife, Sara Netanyahu, accepted over $260,000 worth of luxury gifts—including champagne, cigars, and jewelry—from wealthy benefactors in exchange for political favors.

Case 2000 and Case 4000: Accusations that Netanyahu attempted to manipulate media coverage by negotiating favorable press treatment with major Israeli outlets in return for regulatory benefits.

Netanyahu has consistently denied all charges, claiming they are part of a politically motivated campaign to undermine his leadership. His legal team argues that the gifts were personal and that no quid pro quo occurred.
