Kebbi State Governor Nasir Idris Endorses President Bola Tinubu for Re-election, Cites Transformative Highway and Energy Projects

Kebbi State Governor, Comrade Dr. Nasir Idris, Kauran Gwandu, has formally thrown his weight behind the re-election bid of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for a second term in 2027, describing the President’s leadership as visionary and impactful for national development.


Governor Idris made the endorsement during a special event marking the second anniversary of his administration, highlighting key federal projects being implemented in Kebbi State and across the country. He particularly praised the ongoing Sokoto-Badagry Superhighway and federal renewable energy initiatives, which he said are set to boost economic activities, improve connectivity, and provide sustainable power solutions to the state.


“The President’s commitment to infrastructure development is evident in projects like the Sokoto-Badagry Superhighway, which will open up vast opportunities for agriculture, trade, and transportation in our region,” Governor Idris stated. “Additionally, the renewable energy projects demonstrate a forward-thinking approach to addressing our energy challenges and positioning Nigeria as a leader in sustainable development.


The Governor noted that President Tinubu’s administration has shown strong dedication to national development through strategic investments in infrastructure and energy, which have positively impacted Kebbi State and the nation at large. He emphasized that these achievements justify continued support for the President’s leadership.


Governor Idris called on the people of Kebbi State and Nigerians across the country to rally behind President Tinubu, assuring that his re-election would sustain the momentum of progress and deliver even greater dividends of democracy.
