Senate President Godswill Akpabio has expressed strong confidence in President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s leadership, asserting that despite the significant milestones already recorded by the current administration, Nigerians are yet to see the best of President Tinubu.

Speaking at the 8th All Progressives Congress (APC) National Convention in Abuja, Senator Akpabio praised the President’s vision, resilience, and ongoing reforms, even in the face of daunting economic challenges inherited by the administration.

“In President Tinubu, you have both sight and vision, and you are translating it into reality for Nigeria,” Akpabio said. “Nigerians are yet to see the best of you. Despite the difficult economy, you are turning things around and bringing dignity back to Nigeria on the world stage.”

The Senate President highlighted the administration’s bold policy initiatives, including tax reforms and other structural changes aimed at repositioning the economy for sustainable growth. He noted that President Tinubu met a challenging economic landscape but has demonstrated unwavering commitment to long-term national prosperity through deliberate and necessary reforms.

Akpabio’s remarks come as the APC convention serves as a platform to reflect on the party’s achievements and chart the course for continued governance. He urged party members and Nigerians at large to remain steadfast, emphasizing that the President’s leadership continues to restore Nigeria’s standing internationally while laying a solid foundation for future development.

President Tinubu, in his address at the convention, reiterated his administration’s focus on infrastructure development, economic recovery, and addressing security challenges, acknowledging the sacrifices of Nigerians but expressing optimism about the eventual benefits of the ongoing reforms.

Senate President Akpabio’s endorsement underscores the strong partnership between the Executive and Legislative arms in driving Nigeria’s progress under the APC led government.
